Privacy Policy

CTB Services maintains a commitment to data security and privacy which sits at the foundation of our services. This Privacy Policy describes what CTB Services (herein also known as "Company") does with information it collects from all end users of the Company's Website and provided Internet Services ("Services"). This policy applies both to visiting parties on our Services ("Visitors") and those who pay a service fee to utilize Services ("Customers") and addresses concerns and choices Visitors and Customers might have regarding the collection and use of such information. The company recommends that you read this Privacy Policy carefully. Please see our Terms of Service for more definitions regarding our service.

  1. Overview

    The Company collects information in varying ways from Customers as well as Visitors within various parts of our Services and networked resources. The collected information is used primarily to facilitate Services we provide as well as to perform metering of our services to ensure security and quality of service to our Visitors and Customers. Information collected is not generally shared with third parties, and personal information is only shared if we have received your permission to do so or otherwise in special cases, such as issues of law, described in this Privacy Policy.

  2. Account Registration

    Customers are asked to provide personally identifiable information when they sign up for our Services such as name, address, telephone number, billing information (such as a credit card number), and information about the type of personal computer being used to access our Services. The personal information collected at registration is used to build and manage a Customer account (such as for billing or support). This information is not shared with third parties, unless otherwise specifically stated or in special conditions defined in this Policy. The information collected during registration may be used in generation of non-identifying and aggregate profiles or reports.

    The Company uses "Cookies" (a small amount of data saved to persistent storage by web browsers when visiting certain sites) to collect, store, and sometimes track information for statistical purposes to improve the Services provided and aid in management of our network resources.     We use information about you gathered from our systems, such as your IP (Internet Protocol) address and User Agent data, to aid in the administration and improvement of our services. We use this gathered data for broad demographic analysis and no personally identifiable information is linked to this gathered data, except as deemed necessary to prevent abuse on our systems and services.

  5. Analytics

    This site and related public sites or pages may or may not utilize Analytics services provided CTB Services itself. Analytics allows CTB Services to more closely monitor Visitor activity on our web pages to determine usage patterns and ways to improve our services. We do not collect through or transfer to these analytic service any personally identifiable information. No information collected via our Analytics system is shared or sold to third parties and is for use solely by CTB Services in connection with administration and improvement of its services.

  6. Email Inquiry

    Emails sent to the Company are responded to using the Return address specified in the email headers. CTB Services does not use or share the Return address for any other purpose or to any third party.

  7. Advertisements

    The Company may display online advertisements. We share some aggregated and non-identifying information with advertising providers in order to help tailor ads and advertising placement on our pages. The Company does not share personal information about its Visitors or Customers to advertisers.

  8. COPPA Users

    CTB Services is committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and all other applicable laws. While we make every effort to ensure our Web sites are age-appropriate for our younger audience, we believe there is no substitute for proper parental supervision. CTB Services recommends that children ask a parent for permission to before sending personal information to the Company, or to anyone else online.

    Keep in mind that any information shared, published, or otherwise disclosed by you within public areas of our web sites or the Internet, becomes public information. You should use caution when deciding to disclose personal or other sensitive information in these public areas.

  10. Customer Provided Services

    Some sites hosted by CTB Services might allow you to register for or purchase products or services provided by the Customers who own the Web site. In many cases these websites may request or require that you provide personal information, such as contact, billing, or shipping information. The Company has no control over the third-parties' use of the information you provide when placing orders or otherwise interacting with their web site(s) and recommends you exercise care when doing so.

  11. Data Security

    CTB Services and the Websites we host have security measures in place to protect against loss, misuse, and alteration of information under our control. While the Company makes every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network, systems, and related services, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party "hackers" from illegally obtaining this information.

  12. Automatic Processing

    As a part of our Data Security, information exchanged on our network or managed servies is subject to automatic processing. This processing determines the legitimacy of any given request and may be used to automatically deny further access to a part or all of the CTB Services Network and managed services. Additional processing may be performed which submits IP address information to third-party services in an effort to report and reduce abusive and malicious activity on the Internet.

  13. Your Account Information

    Information you have provided to CTB Services during account registration can be accessed or modified by you via your Account pages. If any such information requires changes that you are unable to make yourself via your Account pages, please contact our Customer Service department at billing@ctbservices.net

  15. Exceptions & Special Cases

    CTB Service company firmly believes personal information about its Customers or Visitors should never be used or shared for purposes that are not related to providing our Service or are not covered in this Privacy Policy. The Company may, however, disclose personal information if in our sole discretion we believe it is reasonable to do so, including: to satisfy laws, regulations, governmental requests, or legal requests for such information; to disclose information that is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our terms of use or other user policies; to operate the Services properly; or to protect the Company and our Customers.

    CTB Services reserves the right to revise, modify, or amend this policy, and any other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. Notice of such revisions may be published within the policy or agreement itself. The Company recommends its Customers and Visitors to periodically review these policy and agreements for changes.
